Bought by Harrah's in 1998, the Rio is famous for high roller action, right off the Strip. The Rio features a Brazilian Carnival theme. A new tower built in 1997 added another 42 floors of neon. Cocktail waitresses at the Rio are 'Bevertainers', singing and dancing every 10 minutes.
